Really? Where'd you find that out? I am procrastinating from the subject here...

House in my opinion is a definite aspie, as is L and N from death note (I know someone else said this...)

I have definitely noticed AS in Mr. Monk, and due to the fact that I too have OCD, I can tell the symptoms apart.

I have noticed the following:

Monk often doesn't seem to think about Sharona/Natalie's feelings like when he offers to take the suitcases in Mr. Monk gets drunk, but instead of keeping them he turns them round and gives them back to her.

He doesn't like being touched, not just from his germ fear, but he flinches when someone touches him unexpectidly.

He obviously has SID, because he can see EVERYTHING and hear everything around him. (like me)

He uses cue cards in order to have a conversation with two police officers.

There is much more but I am late for my lesson and I need to go...

Dr. House isn't really an "aspie"(Sounds like we're snakes) imho, he is more of a obsessive opportunist with narcissistic character traits. Just because someone is a jerk and shows no regard for other peoples feelings doesn't mean they have Asperger :P

Dr. Reid on the other hand from Criminal Minds is very typical Asperger, he talks in facts and never really gets emotional unless there is serious pressure on him.

I wouldn't categorise cartoon characters in satirs or comedies as being "aspies" because they are intended to be stupid and exaggerated and saying they have Asperger would declare me stupid ^^

Can't think of any other, but Locke in Lost comes pretty close to being socially awkward at least.

Damn, I was about to name him!! ! Sure he is.

Whatever.

How about Dade Murphy from Hackers and David Lightman from WarGames?
Oh, and Mark Renton from Trainspotting also looks a bit aspie to me, more in the book than the movie though.

I think Cliff Clavin, the mailman on CHEERS, definitely qualifies. Obsessed with trivia, devoted to his work, socially awkward and oblivious to the fact that most of the regulars at the bar can't stand him.

The Comic Book Guy (THE SIMPSONS)

Basil Fawlty (FAWLTY TOWERS)

Brainy (SMURFS)

Here I bring some others, who I strongly believe are aspies:

Raphael from Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (he was always my favourite btw)

Lydia Deetz from Beetlejuice

Devon Stockard from Lawn Dogs

Drake Mallard/Darkwing Duck and "Honker" Muddlefoot Jr. from Darkwing Duck

Max Fischer from Rushmore

Daria Morgendorffer from Daria

Pink from Pink Floyd The Wall

Seth Brundle from The Fly

Brian Shelby from Vanilla Sky

.
.
.
.

And I don't remember any other right now. Tell me what do you think.

I think Steve Urkel from Family Matters might be an aspie.

Just thought of another, Jack Nicholsons character in "As Good as It Gets" (Melvin Udall) was very Aspergerish.
