I Care A Lot.

It was above average for a trashy American Netflix movie, enough twists and turns to keep you entertained.

Saw Blade Runner: 2049 the other day. I liked it quite a bit, and unlike many of these sequels to properties from the 80s, it actually felt like a meaningful addition to the series. It was a movie that genuinely tried to expand on some of the themes and ideas from the original movie, instead of just rehashing the old stuff for a quick buck. It was a visual feast, acting was excellent. But I probably would have taken the story in a different direction, and there were some odd contrivances that didn't quite make sense to me. I wish after all the revelations K would have decided to do something for himself instead of, well, what he did. Also, Harrison Ford seemed really off in the film for some reason. Good movie though, definitely worth the three hours.

“After”, a teen romance and drama film.
Thumbs down, for sure. This movie has been pretty universally panned by critics and I only watched it because I like to watch bad movies.

Ghostbusters
It's been years since I've seen it and I enjoyed it again. I'll have to watch the second one (again) and the new one (for the first time) now.

If you want to watch a very bad movie, I strongly suggest watching The Room. Everything about The Room is so bad that they are not worth mentioning here.

Oh dear, I just realized that the last movie I’ve seen was Body Melt, and the one before that (that I was paying any attention to, at least) was Tetsuo: The Iron Man. That... actually is a better representation of me than I’d like to admit 8O

Quadrophenia because my husband couldn't believe I hadn't seen it before. It was quite good but a bit sad.

I'm on a werewolf kick right now. 1981 was a big year for werewolf movies so I just finished watching The Howling and An American Werewolf in London. Next is Wolfen.
