Eastern Promises

A brutal Russian mafia crime thriller directed by David Cronenberg and starring Naomi Watts and Viggo Mortensen. This was a slick, well-produced, violent flick that sheds a little light upon an underground Russian criminal network.

Heredity.

When an artist's secretive, vindictive mother dies, she discovers the old woman had been involved with the occult. When her daughter dies in a horrifying car accident caused accidentally by her son, she is distraught beyond words. That's when a mysterious woman from her grief therapy group comes into her life, offering her an occult means to speak to her deceased little girl. Only when it's too late does she discover that this woman is not who or what she seems.
This movie is slow, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, as it's very atmospheric, has it's very well used horrific moments, and great character development that makes you care about the artist and the members of her family before something terrible happens to them.

It's called Hereditary. Sorry for giving you the wrong title.

Brother AA, for Adrift, I thought it was work seeing for Shailene Woodley. Avengers: It was awesome seeing everybody together, but sad at the end. If you've seen it, you'll know why. Although, I'm pretty sure everybody knows by now.

First truly boring mafia movie I have ever watched.

Is that the new Travolta movie, or the Armand Assante TV movie from years ago?

Little Shop Of Horrors.

The Roger Corman original actually, which is so bad that it's good, and has a much darker ending than the better known musical remake.

Christopher Nolan`s "Dunkirk". A good movie from my point of view. Starring lovely Mark Rylance in an inspiring role. The movie makes me think what men or young boys really, have gone through in wars throughout history. The film put me in the mood for more information on second world war so I begun watching a documentary (World war 2 in colour) but haven`t finished it yet.

Billionaire Boys Club.

Not a great movie, but hardly the worst. While I have no doubt that the spoiled rich kids who were involved with Joe Hunt's get-rich-quick scams were hardly as innocent and dupes as portrayed in the Judd Nelson TV movie - there was plenty of evil to go around - I also hardly think Hunt was the well meaning kid with his head under water, either, or who wasn't really responsible for the two murders he's now serving time with. Still, an interesting different perspective on a real life tale of out of control greed.
