It took me entirely by surprise. At first, I thought The Meg was going to be another yawner of a Jason Statham action flick, but I managed to sit through the entire movie in part because of unexpected lol moments.

Cute. Some of the songs werent bad. Plot was super basic, but the animation was good. It did a pretty good job of conveying a deeper important message, so not bad. I liked it. Not in my top ten, but a fairly good watch
