I thought it was awesome.
Very creative kills. I really liked the library scene.

I watched that movie in a film class years ago. It is very moving. Interesting too as a sci fi nerd.

Yes.


As it's the complete version, is there stuff in it that was not in the more standard releases?


An on-screen explanation is shown at the beginning of The Complete Metropolis that explains why this version is called the "complete" version even though it's about 90-95 percent of the original version restored.

The Complete Metropolis has about 20-30 minutes of restored footage that was discovered about ten years ago in Argentina.

However, some footage since then has never been found, so if you watch The Complete Metropolis, there are some parts that will fade to black and describes missing footage.
