I saw Little Miss Sunshine (again, haha), and it was brilliant as ever.

That comedy really slipped between the cracks, seemingly. I've always thought it was vastly underrated.

The Addams Family (1992 film starring Raul Julia and Angelica Huston)

My NT sister and I will watch one spooky movie every evening for the remainder of this month
even though we began last Thursday.

10/1: Us

10/2: The Cabinet of Doctor Caligari

10/3: The Devil's Backbone

10/4: House of Wax (1954 film)

10/5: The Addams Family (1992 film)

Awesome!

10/6: The Witch and Mystery of the Wax Museum (1933 film that was the origin film for the Vincent Price film that was released in 1954)

10/7: Teeth and Genuine (1920 German silent horror film)

10/8: 28 Days Later and Goke: Snatcher From Hell (Japanese alien horror film)

To be clear, my family and I share different tastes regarding horror films. In fact, my NT sister didn't watch 28 Days Later with me and our mom last night. Instead, she watched Goke in her room and the other night on 10/6 watched Mystery of the Wax Museum instead of The Witch.

21 Bridges ... Boseman is a magnetic screen presence in this. This is well worth a watch ... gritty, ticking clock high-concept thriller.

RIP Chadwick Boseman ... you made this while keeping your terminal cancer diagnosis to yourself...

Terminator Woman

Action movie from 1993, set in South Africa. The plot involves a ruthless gangster, a kidnapping, some stolen gold bullion, and two LAPD officers who take every opportunity to display their Kung Fu skills. Not quite as bad as I was expecting. Karen Sheperd is quite impressive in a Cynthia Rothrock type of role.

"I Am What I Play"

Quote:
"I Am What I Play” features the alternating stories of four broadcasters–Marsden, WBCN Boston’s Charles Laquidara, WNEW New York’s Meg Griffin, and KJR Seattle’s Pat O’Day. Marsden and O’Day bring some stories from the AM Top 40 era, but the focus is on the progressive rock era of the ‘70s and early ‘80s. (Even for O’Day, much of the focus is on his relationship with Jimi Hendrix, whose funeral he helped organize.)

Loved it.
