Jonah, a college Aspie, meets a cute Aspie college
girl named Elizabeth. Gradually, they become friends.
One day, they meet up and Elizabeth tells Jonah
that she was abused over a course of time.
When they have the eventual fight, Jonah
takes it upon himself to save her...Elizabeth...

Silly NTs, I have Aspergers, and having Aspergers is gr-r-reat!
I wouldn't make an Aspergers movie. The reason is because I would want it to be very realistic and not some fairly tale. No romance crap, no huge special talent bologna. Making authentic aspergers movie would probably be boring to the average viewer and I don't think anyone would want to see it. I would instead make a documentary for television, (maybe for TLC or discovery channel) about people who are living with it and how it impacts their lives. I would want it to teach others about what aspergers really is all about and to overall just spread aspergers awareness.

How so? To me the story is sympathetic to the aspie, has a misanthropic attitude in general, and the moral of the story is that alienating someone in the extreme may come back to bite you hard.
The key thing about that story that I'd like to see is the depiction of an aspie who goes through an entire movie without finding friends or a significant other to show how hard it can be for some.
That I get, what I was on about is how the general intolerant public may start to view Aspies as acting well-mannered but secretly being sadistic.
Oh, I see. That would be a misinterpretation, but a misinterpretation that may likely be made by some parts of the public. Sadism is a theme throughout the movie. All of the NTs in the movie are sadistic towards the aspie throughout the movie, so ironically the aspie is just like everyone else in that he also has a sadistic side. It may be better to add something that explicitly makes it clear that he's not sadistic because he's an aspie but that he's sadistic because the sadism of the supposedly 'normal' people around him rubbed off on him.

This is my perfect thread, as I've always got film ideas.
I'd make a series, maybe a sitcom, but with plenty of dark aspie humour in it haha. Anyway it would be maybe 3 aspie students flat sharing. One girl and two boys, the girl is slightly more socially adept than her two friends and she's kind of embarrased of them and when she takes them out anywhere things go wrong or something funny happens. I'd make it a bit like "curb your enthusiasm", so it's funny and doesn't have any canned laughter. And this is also based on me and my friends and I often fantasise about us sharing a flat lol.
An idea for a film I've had is a drama about two best friends with AS, both with their own problems. The boy in the friendship is moderate/severe, and he is going through a hard time with aggressive meltdowns and he's just having a hard time basically, and he also wants to be independant but he has a patronising learning mentor and overprotective parents, and it's making his moods worse. And the girl in the friendship is in denial about her AS and even though her executive functioning is atrocious she is conviced she's normal and declines all help, and she is also trying to hide it from her other friend who is NT. And she has known this friend for years and so she had noticed the girl's strange behaviour, but the AS girl thinks she can't see it and goes about her denial until something really bad happens. The NT friend has had a death in her family, and AS friend doesn't know how to respond to it all, and ends up not doing a good job in comforting her friend, so NT friend gets pissed off and so AS friend is forced to tell all. And also through out the film there will be the two AS best friends together and they are extremely close and feel like they understand eachother so stick together through all there troubles, but this is in no way a "soppy" film I hate that sort of stuff, this will be mostly realistic.
Another idea is a comedy/drama about a girl who's about 17, she has AS. Anyway her cousin who she hasn't seen since they were 6/7 is coming to stay with the protagonist for a few weeks after a past family fight was solved. The cousin turns out to be a typical "plastic" and is quite bitchy, and she knows that the protagonist is naiive and socially awkward and uses it to her advantage, and they both don't get on because they don't understand eachother. Until one day they wake up and find pills by their bed, protagonist gets an "NT" pill, and cousin gets "AS" pill, so they spend a few weeks in eachother's shoes, and when it's over they still agree to disagree but had a taster of eachothers life and have more of an understanding. It's got quite a "freaky friday" feel to it, and that is quite a popular concept and is one of my favourites.

The first and last ideas are great! Not that I don't like the second (in fact I quite appreciate your effort to not make it "soppy"), but it doesn't flow as well with me as the other two. Don't let that stop you from making it though. Your ideas are really creative!
If I made an Aspie movie:
It would only mention autism/asperger's in a couple sentences at most. It would be a factual collection in the vein of HG Wells The Outline of History. It would be a long boring movie worthy of being forced to watch at school, with heads numbingly propped up with one hand as to not fall over on their desks. It would be a complete history of abnormalities in nature and in humans which leads to evolution and momentum, or progress. Nothing can stay the same forever. Not all abnormalities are useful, and some fail, yet all have their place.
It would piss on religion, racial pride, and untouchable power (governments and celebrities). It would show our place in the world in the vein of Carl Sagan, to give a more rational understanding about what this human thing is.
Most people live and die without even trying to understand even a small fraction of what's around us, and what's in other people and living things. A fictional aspie movie would just be absorbed into all these little minds in way they deem rational to their own thoughts and experiences. By teaching someone the world, and that you will never know the world other people live in; maybe people could at least get a little closer.
Since it's late at night and my mind is kinda foggy, I can't suggest anything more intelligent than a chick flick where an aspie girl is bullied or teased (lightly) by one of the popular guys at school, who finds out he's in love with her when she's seriously hurt (physically or emotionally) by one of his "pranks" (for exmple, like telling him she hates him or something, and then trying to fix things in order to be with her. Or if you want a dark twist, have the popular guy commit suicide or something.
Or it could be done without the bullying part. Long story short, have the NT pursuing the aspie's love instead of the other way around. That way, he'd be the one who'd have to adapt himself to her lifestyle, and maybe have a taste of what being an aspie is truly like. Or it could be a movie where the audience gets a taste of what being an aspie is like (like, feeling they are aspies themselves).
I am writing an Aspie-theme sci fi novel. And one day it will become a book and then someone somewhere will make a movie of it and a whole bunch of cool people will be involved and I'll make lots of money from syndication rights...
I can dream, can't I?
The first sentence is true, anyway.

I'm not sure if they'll be movies, but almost EVERY SINGLE one of my stories has at least one or more autistic characters. I could show you my FictionPress account, but I don't think this is the right place.
But I will mention that I'm writing a Sci-Fi/Drama story taking place in a futuristic Japan (about 30 years into the future) starring a "new species" of human beings called catalysts who have strange genetic and emotional connections with autistic people. It starts off lightly, but it's going to turn very dark and serious later on. I actually finished the 43rd chapter and posted it on my FictionPress account.
I don't mean to offend, but that's sort of... creepy. Just as people who are neurotypical shouldn't treat people with Aspergers syndrome badly, people with AS shouldn't treat NT people badly. Your idea for a movie is very intolerant, bordering on monstrous. I seriously hope that you're making a joke.
