You're confonding "empathy" and "sympathy":

Sympathy is caring about others, it's what sociopath lack.

Sociopaths don't lack emapthy and they use it to manipulates others. Contrary to us aspies, sociopaths don't have difficulty to integrate themselfs in groups as they are quite charismatics and lies using what they decoding from peoples.

Could you be more wrong?

The definition of someone with an antisocial personality disorder is that they have NO empathy.

Empathy is the lack of understanding for other peoples emotions, its not failing to interprit them. Sociopaths/Psychopats are antisocial, they are the predators in society (Not all necesserely serial killers), Aspies/Auties are more the asocial type that can "get by" with little social interaction or just shuns the whole thing and go "f-all" to social interaction because we do not "get it".

Before you write something, please check the diagnostic criterias for a certain disorder. I've seen my share of asses (sales people) on stage doing wikipedia psychology just because they want to sell something - and that seriously pisses me off.

Oh, and i love D. Just hope Season 4 shows up on DVD soon over here. I know whats gonna happen, i unfortunately watched the final clip on Showtimes Youtube page, but thats my own fault... *smacks self*

I love the show but...it felt like they ripped my heart out at the end of season 4. I was like wait...is he dreaming? I mean....no, no, no the credits can't start running! agh!! !
I hope they have a good plan for the new season. Seriously, what direction are headed in?

My guess is that next season Dexter will be struggling with thoughts of failing as a father and his son growing up to become a monster like him. Add to that having to deal more with the other kids and sacrificing even more of his freedom.

The actor Michael Hall is having a bout with Hodgkin's Lymphoma. I hope he is well enough to do the part.

That is good news indeed. Hall is a fine actor and Dexter is one of my favorite characters. If I were a serial killer I would be like Dexter
