The monster has to be killed three times before it's dead.
I almost laughed out loud at the end of "Panic Room" where the criminal had to be killed (yes) three times before he was really dead.

What about psychotic mean superhuman. In movies a psychotic person is practicly a different breed from others, being able to take a large amount of trauma and inflict it on others. For example a psychotic person can stand being shot or hit by a car and still move, and also can generaly overpower everyone else, slice off limbs and move at incredible speed or grace being, aswell as being amazingly smart.

The fruit cart cliche. Every time there's a car chase, something gets hit: fruit cart, garbage can, glass window pane being carried by two guys across the street at the exact same time as the car chase, etc.

Dragons are always ancient, mystical, and wise. Otherwise, they're malevolent monster, pack beasts, or the Reluctant Dragon's dimwitted bastard child.

Rarely do they lives parallel to that of the humans in the audience. E.g., hatchlings are mischievous and curious about everything; juveniles are stupid and reckless; young adults are learning to cope with a nest full of hatchlings, adults are struggling to maintain order in a nest of stubborn juveniles, and elders are happily reminiscing about their own youth.

We don't ever see this.
