I'm a Christian and I liked the film. I think if you can't tell the difference between a story and reality, then you shouldn't watch films, and you can't really object to a story!

You apparently missed the entire point of the story... either that or you were sleeping through half of the movie.
Apparently I didn't phrase it correctly. What I meant to say was that, because the movie didn't explain enough of the backstory, I didn't know the signifigance of the daemons. So, I ended up regarding them as a novelty and a minor part of the plot.
