I think any anime where there's lots of yelling attacks, courageous moments and whatnot that Japanese does sound a lot better, but that's my biased opinion. Any kind of robot show and stuff in the vein of DBZ just sounds cooler, I could never imagine watching Gaogaigar with an English dub. It would be criminally wrong.

With that said, I tend to watch Godzilla movies dubbed. I don't watch enough anime anymore to say I can think of a time I preferred the English dub.

I'm a dub hater and a yaoi fan.

I'd rather see something the way it was originally made than some dub that may be badly done or different from the original. I'd no more want to see my anime in English than I'd want to watch Vampire Diaries dubbed in Japanese.

The first dub I ever saw was Yugioh Duel Monsters and if you've ever watched the sub and the dub there is a lot of difference. Some dubs are even worse.

I like yaoi pairing and if people like that then too bad for them. Then don't read them. If you can't help but run across them then the sites you visit are really bad at organizing the stories. Some sites I go to have different sections for het and yaoi so people that don't like it will never see it. I don't want to have to sift through a bunch of stuff I don't want to read any more than people that like straight stuff.

I am an ex-dub hater, well while I was against lots of dubs, there were still some I preferred. I since realised that dubs can give a different experience, and that is not a bad thing, like my 10 year old brother can enjoy it, and watching some of the shows dubbed can be fun, I still usually prefer sub.

I watch a lot of shows online, and I have been taking up the idea to watch it dubbed when I get on DVD.

What is all this talk on yaoi fangirls, well to be honest I have become somewhat of a yuri fanboy recently, but I am not really pushy about it. Also been seeing lots of yaoi used in jokes recently in anime.

People only care about yaoi fangirls because they draw pictures of everyone's favorite video game, anime, or book characters engaged in non-canon relationships with other male characters, often times from other universes. This bothers people enough even though its always been contained to live-journal communities, certain forums and deviantart pages. I don't know why people get so upset over it, who cares.

I can't imagine hate for people that like yaoi to be anything but homophobia.

No one is forcing anyone to read it. I can't stand people that hate on other people just because they have a different preference than them.
