Why do so many TV shows suck?

The reason why TV sucks today is alot of things. It's not about art, it's about money. Sickning, isn't it.

Dumb reality shows and cheap remakes, day in and day out (no offence to ones who like Reality Shows and/or remakes)

I've got a plan for an internet tv show, I think it's going to be cool. I'll let you know when I final made an episode. I just need a video card and install it.

Does anyone know if I should do it myself carefully or should I just have it looked at?

I lost all faith in TV when the 24th season of 24 was nominated for tons of emmys while Arrested Development was canceled. I now have faith in 1 and a half channels. FX has Rescue Me, 30 Days, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia. Adult Swim has Family Guy, Futurama, and Pee Wee, and is responsible for bringing back the former two of those shows. As for why tv sucks? Watch an old episode of Happy Days and tell me that tv hasn't improved.

Television is becoming LCD (lowest common denominator) material, little by little. But you know what, so is almost everything else!

All I know is, it's rare for me to find a TV show that isn't annoying as hell. Maybe it's the loudness. Maybe it's the repetition. Maybe it's the poor direction. Maybe it's the crappy scripts. Maybe it's the lack of decent visuals due to low budgets. Maybe it's the advertisements. Maybe it's the cliches.

I dunno. I hate TV--even the shows that are supposed to be good.

TV is stupid because people afraid to make the audience think.

Me however, LOVES Cartoons.
Good Cartoons not Bad Cartoons.
But who is to say what is good and what is bad. Opinions can't hurt nobody, just disagreed.
