Doctor Who is hands down one of the greatest shows ever made.

My problem with shows you can watch in any order...is that with no real continuity to them, a storyarc never really progresses; it can get boring really fast.

Serial shows are all I care to watch

Dexter
Monster
Battlestar Galactica
Breaking Bad
Spartacus
Deadwood
The Wire

and so on....

I like story and character arcs. It really gives the writers a real chance to build characters and intricate plotlines. When everything is neatly wrapped up in 40 minutes, it just seems so shallow.....
