I always loved David the Gnome, there is an actual message and spiritual meaning which I have not seen in any other cartoon.

I'm 24 and obsessed with cartoons. My dream is to get a job in the animation business.

I'm 23 and have been a massive All Grown Up! fan since I was 18 and in 2008 this led me to another cartoon which has become my main interest (after Bolton of course)... BEN 10 ! !! !

I love everything about this cartoon, Alien Force and Ultimate Alien as well :)

Some cartoons from my childhood that I can still enjoy are Captain Planet & TMNT.

Futurama, Simpsons & South Park are all great too!

i've always liked cartoons, however CGI animation never really grew on me...

but looking back there were an awful lot to watch, especially on saturdays on the German TV stations and synchroed to german (which kinda makes it strange to watch them in English:P).
let's see, back then I used to watch the classic stuff like Captain Planet, TMNT, Samurai Pizza Cats (which was funny as hell :D)... After the cartoons they'd usually show all the good shows including Knight Rider and the A-team... so i'd usually spend most of my saturdays just lying in bed, watching TV :D

On fridays at 7 P.M there's a one-hour disney show on the Danish public service channel, usually consisting of two series and two of the ooold Disney cartoons, sometimes they rerun old classics like Duck tales (wooohoo dadadadadada DUCK TALES woooohoo :D), Goofy & Max etc.

today there's Ben 10, I thought it sucked at first, but turned out to be pretty good. Ultimate Alien hasn't reached Denmark yet AFAIK though... Also there's Chowder, pretty funny series that contains lots of references, one of the more famous being a reference to Katamari Damacy. Avatar: the last airbender is IMO a modern cartoon masterpiece. It has a great story and great animation work. Also the Batman and Spiderman cartoons from the 90's. Great work and solid stories in those... and Batman Beyond aka. Batman of the future is also a great contender for the top spot.
Futurama, Simpsons, South park and Family guy are all favourites of mine. It's great that Futurama got revived again for a new run :D

I'm so glad you said that! I thought I was the only one. I love the Toy Story films, but most other CGI "cartoons" just seem wrong to me.

These and Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog were my favourite three back in the day! Can't believe I forgot to mention AoStH before. :D

Ben 10: Ultimate Alien has just arrived in the UK. Although i've seen every episode broadcast in the USA so far (I have my ways )

Yes, can't wait to see the new Futurama. Bender is one of my favourite cartoon characters! lol

South Park has to be one of the funniest shows ever!

Just look at it this way... if a cartoon appeals to you at 24, then it's probably the sort of cartoon that was intended to do so. On occasion, there's even that gem of a piece that appeals to a broad spectrum of ages and types of people... Phineas and Ferb has those qualities to me. But what it come down to is that people got together and made something to tell a story, to entertain, to amuse... and there's no age limit on that. Shows like The Clone Wars especially are really just action shows in animated form... no sillier for you to watch than Star Trek.

Anyone who has an issue with someone else watching cartoons is someone who has an issue, period. They need to get over themselves. They may be trying to prove something. It's insecurity.
