Another commercial that I hate, is the new Always one. The one, where the strip and the protection lines are pointed out, and described. And at the end, the woman says, "Always Pads...Have a Happy Period." No woman has a Happy Period, unless their screwed-up in the Head.

I'd have to agree with the ones who said the Burger King commercial. My son is really frightened by the plastic king. I can identify with that because he creeps me out too. Especially the one where the person rolls over in bed and he's there with that strange looking grin. 8O

Smiling Bob annoys me to no end. Yeah, we know your product works. If you ask me, it works too well! :x

All fast food commercials  . Ronald Mcdonald is reminding me more and more of Pennywise the clown in the Stephen King movie "It."

Yeah. I think adverts should all be stuck on a channel called "The Advert Channel". Make sure you don't flick over to it if it exists. It would drive everyone insane.

i don't find to many commercails particulaly annoying but my mom can stand the one for the tide pen where that woman sees a spot on her husband's shirt and gets out the tide pen and sings "na na na hey hey hey good-bye." i laugh when she hits mute.

this is of topic but my fav commercial is the dq mocha lotte commercial where this lady is on a mocha resistence test and she grabbs the cup and gets shocked she grabbs it again and gets shocked more pretty soon she's getting the s**t buzed out of her and three guys come into restrain her and one gets zapped and passes out.

or the one were the one guy learns to speak bee and he makes it sting his partner then he grabs the mocha, slams his hand on the bee, gets stung and passes out.

sorry but i don't know of a fav commercial topic.

For some reason, I rather like "The King" commercials. I find it to be rather entertaining. I certainly agree with disliking the new dunkin donuts "karate" commercial. My most disliked commercial (s) would have to be the series of kid's bop commercials. I also dislike those awful anti marijuanna PSAs, if not simply for their gross inaccuracies and assumptions. The "Autism Speaks" PSAs also rather offended me (naturally).

Does anyone else get annoyed with the voices that narrate some commercials? Like the insincere, "we care about you" kind, or the up-close personal kind that sound like their mouth is close to the microphone, and you can almost hear their sticky mouth noises? Children's cold medicine ones are bad like that. I would respect them more if they said they didn't care about us and just want the money. I feel insulted by a lot of commercials.

Here when we pay the $10 (Canadian) we just get about 2 hours of ads.

ROFL. I was just about to post that one until I scrolled down and saw it.

That's a big CNN one. And I don't even know what exactly it is for.

On my local PBS station, WQLN from Erie, PA, there used to be ads for "Hamot" at the end of Sesame Street. I was always annoyed by these ads because they just showed the logo on the screen and didn't say anything about what Hamot was. Years later I found out it was a local health center in Erie. I think an ad at the end of Sesame Street on a PBS station should be somewhat geared to children, like "Keep reading!" or something to do with nutrition.

The commercial that I absolutley despise is the one for Huggies Pull-ups with the Cool Strip. The little boy is playing Chess, and than he starts to feel wet, and he says that his Pull-up is making him cool. He runs off to the Bathroom to finish the job, and than at the end of the commercial, he says that he feels cool. Now the Toddlers in the 18 Month to 3 1/2 Year Old bracket are going to think that it's cool to relieve themselves in their Pull-ups.

This is off-topic, but I remember when kids were toilet trained before they started school. We didn't have Pull-ups in my generation.
