I'm going to see It's a Wonderful Life in the cinema on the 18th. The cinema is doing a Frank Capra retrospective.

-It's a Wonderful Life- with Jimmy Stewart.

It is an alternative time line what-if tale.

My new favorite Christmas special is now "Abed's Uncontrollable Christmas". It manages to be both dark and heartwarming at the same time. :P

Its a toss up between Die Hard and Lethal Weapon.

Die Hard hadn't occurred to me as an option, but it was recently pointed out to me that it is a minor tradition in my house to watch it after having decorated the tree. So, it belongs on my list as well. :) yippe ki yay!

My absolute favorites are
White Christmas
Bishop's Wife

Other ones I like are Elf, Muppet Christmas Carol, A Christmas Carol (George C.Scott version) Home Alone and Home Alone 2, The Christmas Story, the cartoons of The Grinch, A Charlie Brown Christmas, and Frosty the Snowman, and The Santa Clause. Another one I like is The Snowman (no words at all, just animation and music).
