Harry Potter has more substance to it, but Twilight is okay, I guess.

But overall, Harry Potter's books/films are better than the Twilight books/films.

Harry Potter FTW always!

Twilight can kiss ass.

I love the Harry Potter books! Not so fond of the movies though.

I've never read/watched twilight, but am completely uninterested in or downright disturbed by everything I've heard about it (No offence to those who like it). Of course, I dislike romances in general so I may be biased.

I like werewolves and vampires though. :P

Harry Potter.
Better written - the characters all flawed but interesting, while the characters in twilight I just want to slap.

Really? I don't have ADD (or at least I haven't been diagnosed with it) but I couldn't get past the first 10 pages of it because I found it so boring. I even tried watching the movie, but I couldn't get past the first 10 minutes of that. The reason why I was able to read and watch the Harry Potter books and movies is cuz the pacing is better and there's actually interesting stuff going on to hold my attention.

HARRY POTTER NO QUESTION. IMO the most recent two Twilights were the same film, but with a few more bare chests. And werewolves. Is she going to sleep with a cold, undead vampire or a hot, hairy werewolf? Hmmm.BORING. Every HP had the same basic plot - Harry has to save someone or something - but the settings, characters and objects changed and even though it could be considered repetitive in some respects, it was just... somehow new... every time. JK Rowling is a literary genius and deserves every penny she has made. Twilight was a good book but sequels turned it into a HP wannabe, the quality of which it will never achieve.

Ignore the media. They're only saying that Toilet is "better" because its newer and fresher in the minds of the NT masses.
Harry Potter is much better than Toilet. Suspending your disbelief regarding the fantasy elements of both series, HP is much more believable, as it is better constructed and consistently follows the rule set within its world. The entire premise of TL is ridiculous. It gives teenage girls a damaging message, feeding on the fantasy of bad boy appeal and encouraging more young women to seek abusive relationships. And it isn't even original; Stephanie Meyers jumped onto the already existing Vampire bandwagon that's been making billions since Buffy.
And in closing, two last words: Sparkling Vampires?!

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1 also bravely faces the future, slipping with expert ease among the thrilling mass of complications (and complicated set pieces) that Rowling throws fans in the final sprint, then guiding the faithful to the fate that awaits everyone in this world, the moment called The End.

I'm reviewing this movie because I saw the second one and I'm striving to become a film critic. I was really aganist reviewing beacuse I'm scared of my girl. She's a fan of course but, she told me to do it and to tell the truth. Twillight is about a human girl who falls in love with a vampire. The movie does has decent premise, however there are things that bogs it down. It has horrible paceing by the time these two lovebirds stay together, my daughter will be grauating and her mom hopefully at new house.

I'm not a fan of either, but of the two I'd rather watch the HP series because of 'wand' jokes I tell myself. "My wand! Look at my wand, Harry! *whimper*" Ahahahahaha, gets me every time.

Harry Potter is a much better book than Twilight, no doubt. Twilight may be utterly mediocre and promote abusive relationships, but it isn't the worst book ever written. I read much crappier required reading books in high school, with Moby Dick being by far the worst of that bunch. Still, the love for Twilight amongst my age group is nauseating. This fad should go away soon enough for good, like disco. Hopefully there is a 'The Day Twilight Died' just like disco too.

Harry Potter just because I've been with the books for ever; Harry annoys me though...
Twilight was so-so in the beginning and like Stephen King says "just no good."

I love the story of Twilight, but the books are poorly written... can only read the word "chagrin" so many times. I love the Harry Potter books. I enjoy the movies for both.

Monsters should be monsters or people whos powers always end up hurting them selves. I have read books I found so dull I used them to sleep at night. Harry potter was good but not great. Twilight on the other hand was just plain bad all around. If any one was going to end up being used up and then toss aside it was the main from twilight.

Harry Potter is way better than Twilight, in my opinion. I've read all seven HP books, and couldn't even get through half of the first Twilight book. And Twilight; holy crap- where do I even begin about how much it sucked?
