Alas it was. This third season will be the end, no season four. Thankfully WB/DC cartoons have final seasons, Marvel toons will be outright canceled with no resolution.

you keep using past tense. the show is GETTING cancelled. also, the show is not getting cancelled, it is ending

I almost started a new thread about this enjoyable TV show.

Luckily someone on here started it.

I too enjoy this TV show. Though I still think B: TAS is still the best adaptation of Bats on TV, The Brave and the Bold is second.

The show is light hearted without being too corny.

I plan to buy the entire series on DVD when it is available.

Is Bruce Timm even involved in this show? I know that he prefers to quit while he is ahead. That's what he did to Batman Beyond.

NO, but his co-writer on Batman: TAS, Paul Dini, wrote a few of the episodes, including the final episode where Bat-mite made the show go down in flames

I haven't really looked into it much but it looks pretty good. It almost resembles the Batman cartoons from the 1970's but a lot more up to date and that's fine by me.
