^^^ sorry to react so defensively. just dont have much experience with accepting people i guess. i just need to clarify that most of the yuri i've come across is non erotic and definitely not hentai. the one i listed was a little racy in some parts but not above an M15+ rating. same goes for one of the yaoi, the other was very tame. elfen lied probably trumps all of them for nudity and violence...
Bradleigh: your taste in manga/anime is very um... cutsey. Astarotte no Omocha manages to sound, well lets just say "surprising" whilst looking so kawaii. i've actually been meaning to watch sasameki koto for a while now. you're one in a long line of people to recommend it.

Are you refering to the loli elements, yeah they can be a bit shocking, but I really enjoy the plots, and that you can have something that you do not appear in another genre, hey you can surprised with how good something can be you would not like. I still think one of the best emotional anime and a hidden gem is Kure-nai, although people get turned off because it apparently has a certain theme. Sasameki Koto is good fun, the characters are good fun, I think there is absolutly nothing wrong with likeing these sort of shows.
I think getting hung up on the naughty bits shows a bit of imaturity, I have really been enjoying Astorotte's Toy, it kind of has a sort of heart that is very enjoyable, I especially like the Opening Song. I also like the supernatural creature part of it too, kind of like how I am also a fan of Rosario Vampire (manga is better). Or say Inukami! which I think is also incredibly funny underapreciated show, it's alternit ending song one of the funiest I have seen in comparison to the original, just like with Sora no Otoshimono which is also really good on certain episodes.
