Futurama.

House is great too but I don't like certain details about medical things so I can't stand watching it sometimes.

Thinking about it, I should add Angel, and Twin Peaks to keep my already mentioned The X Files company.

The original Twilight Zone and the first season and a half of (new) Battlestar Galactica... the first 5 episodes of season 3 were good too.

Buffy is my favourite programme.

Followed by:

South Park
Doctor Who
Blackadder
Spaced
Father Ted
Black Books
Star Trek: Voyager
Star Trek: TNG
Torchwood
HIGNFY
QI
Red Dwarf
The IT Crowd
The X-Files (I prefer the earlier series)
Inspector Morse

When I was a kid (1980s-90s) it would have been (in no particular order):

The Adventure Game
V (The original TV series)
Doctor Who (again)
Battlestar Galactica (original)
A Bit of Fry and Laurie
French and Saunders
The Day of the Triffids
The Cosby Show
The Young Ones
Monkey
Chocky
Roseanne
Moonlighting
Whose Line is it Anyway (UK version)
Monty Python
The Muppet Show
The Wonder Years
Tiswas
Bottom
My So Called Life
The Red Hand Gang
Grange Hill

Sorry, I'm completely unable to do lists of just one or two. It hurts my head to try.

This list ignores all cartoon series.

There have been a lot of TV shows that I have loved throughout the years. But for right now, I will say that I really loved the old Night Gallery series with Rod Serling. The most memorable episode for me was the one that included "Certain Shadows on the Wall," and "The House."
