Really? 8O I don't remember that... it's been years since I've seen the movies.

I refer you to Star Wars Episode II: Attack of the Clones

Well regardless I think what I said applies to all movies that have the nameless henchmen soldiers that get killed either by the heroes or their evil masters for failing to obey orders. It's like either way they're always screwed.

True enough. Kind of reminds me of the hoards of bad guys in video games.
Are there any characters from a cartoon, anime, movie, or TV show you pitied and just wanted to be their friend and stand up for them because they are the butt of everyone's jokes, made fun of or are treated poorly? Ever since I was little, I always felt sorry for the butt monkey of every series I have watched, from Charlie Brown to Meg of Family Guy.
Same here about those characters. I also really feel sorry for Butters from South Park,

Seth Rogen's character in Observe and Report. It was billed as a comedy. It was really sad to watch.

I feel really sorry for Mikuru from The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. She's a really nice person, but Haruhi treats her as less than human a lot of the time. I found some of it really uncomfortable.

I would also say Woody in the first Toy Story, but you can't rule out the fact that he was responsible for Buzz falling out of the window, which was an accident, the plan was for him to fall into the closed space so that Andy couldn't find him and take Woody with him to pizza. Also when Potato Head, Hamm and the others gang up on him and leave him trapped over in Sid's house, you kinda find them unlikeable and jerk like, which is one of the reasons I like the sequels better than the original because theres more screen time for Hamm and the others.

I felt sorry for Excel in Excel Saga. She was so devoted to and in love with Ilpalazzo and he was so mean to her. Menchi had it pretty bad too being Excel's "emergency food supply".

I felt bad for Inuyasha because Kagome is such a b***h and sits him all the time. It's worse in the anime than in the manga. While there are occasional times when it's to protect him or others it's mostly because she is mad at him and I consider that to be abusive. That rosary really needed to come off by the end of the show.

Same here. Mikuru being constantly mistreated was what made me stop watching that series entirely.

I also feel sorry for Kyo from Fruits Basket. I know the entire Sohma family has it pretty rough, but I feel like Kyo's got it the worst since he's ostracized from the family and can't interact properly with anyone else outside the family either.

Meg from Family Guy
Charlie Brown (I LOVED in Family Guy when Peter roundhouse kicked Lucy for pulling the ball away from Charlie! :P )
Krillin from Dragonball. In Dragonball Z he dies the most times out of everyone and is generally disrespected by a lot of people (except his circle of friends)
Hyatt from Excel Saga since she was always suffering, although it was shown in a comedic way
Ranma from Ranma 1/2, at least when he is falsely accused of cheating
Naruto in, well, Naruto. For the first, like....110 chapters he is seen as a monster and shunned by everyone but Iruka and Kakashi.
Butters from South Park. He gets unfairly grounded by his parents all the time, has had a ninja star in his eye, got mistreated by a couple girls......
Daniel in the first three Karate Kid movies, though he always gets his revenge in the end
Shinji Ikari in Evangelion. In fact I'd say his emo-ness is somewhat well-deserved.
Irwin from Grim Adventures of Billy & Mandy
Robbie Hart from The Wedding Singer. But everything works out in the end.
Harper from Wizards of Waverly Place

Meg from Family Guy, Butters from South Park, Hotaru Tomoe from Sailor Moon because she's always got health problems.
