I think certain movies like Avatar and animated movies are made for 3D. But with other movies like Thor and Captain America The First Avenger, it's better in 2d. When the Avengers come out I will experience it in 2d, but with some other movies I may want to experience them in 3D, for example the new Spider-Man may look good in 3D especially when he starts swinging around the city.

I happen to like 3d techonoly in movies, however it being over done. Certain movies 3d was a nice touch example avatar. But movies like dolphins tails come on.

It's just a gimmick to lure people back to the theaters.

I don't like them because I wear prescription glasses, and I don't like having to wear 2 pairs of glasses.
The last 3D movie I saw was Friday the 13th 3D, back in the 80's.
I haven't seen any of the latest ones, and I don't plan on it.

Same here. To me, what's important is the plot and story of the movie as to if I like it or not.
