My history teacher compared me to Sheldon long before I got diagnosed. I suppose my Aspieness shows. XD
Anyway, I like Sheldon. I don't think he's offensive because that's the way that some people with autism are. I'm not saying that that's the way that all people with autism are, because that's not true. But some people are kind of like Sheldon. Like myself.
I want to comment on your avatar, not your post. My youngest daughter was in the kitchen frying the bacon for the devilled eggs on Thanksgiving when she told me that she really wished she had bunny ears, so she could express herself better.
Your avatar has bunny ears.
We talked about it for a while, as that is something I tend to do. Probe questions until the person gives up and is p*ssed off at me, but usually my family just answers honestly. Answering honestly s what I want to hear. They know this about me and are fine with it. It's just "how Mom is"
She doesn't want a dog or cat tail to show feelings because they don't show enough feeling for her. She said a bunny's ears show more feelings. I don't know why, but then I don't interact with the bunny all that much. She does. I interact more with the dogs.
Since your avatar has bunny ears, is that why you picked her? Do you think bunny ears can show more feelings than facial expression or words? She does. I'm just asking.
