AltAstrid in Fringe. She was more autistic than ever in the most recent episode if that makes any sense.

It's not a tv show but the Phantom in The Phantom of the Opera.... If u look in depth it's deffiently there. Not in the 2004 movie, not that at all, (thats phantom with anger issues) but the 25th anniversary performance @ Royal Albert Hall. It was so clear (and later I found true) that the actor playing the phantom studied aspurgers mannierisms and incorporated them into the character. plus the original book as well.

I actually just started to wonder about him. It seems like he knows he is saying socially awkward things and does it on purpose, but I started thinking maybe he deliberately says things to be awkward to cover up that he is truly awkward? Plus, he is very obsessive about a single subject.

There was an episode where the other characters actually discussed the possibility of House having AS. It involved House going crazy because the stained carpet in his office was being taken out (all while investigating a medical case surrounding an autistic boy), but I think in the end it was determined that House didn't have it.

Yeah, I think Wilson put it as "House just wishes he had autism, because that would give him the excuse he needs to act like an as*hole." I do see it in him though. His way of reading people is rather mechanical, not very intuitive.

Watched an old episode from season 3 of Without a Trace, which featured a "high-functioning" autistic boy going missing. He seemed pretty low-functioning to me though, hardly spoke and behaved more like my HFA son did at four whereas the character was supposed to be a teenager.

I've always wondered if Lisa Simpson might have some form of it. I remember seeing some episodes where it's clear she has social problems and struggles making friends, while I understand that doesn't exactly mean she definitely has Asperger's, I have wondered from time to time.

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned Gary from Alphas.

Community, Abed.
TBBT, Sheldon
Bones, Agent Brennan

What do you think on Psych's Agent Lasiter? perhaps it is, but with a less positive view.

Anyway :) that I why I'm trying not to post stuff that is already posted :) but I'm reading a lot of the posts.

The first time I saw an episode of this show, that was instantly the first thing I thought about him as well.

Chloe O'Brian from the TV series 24 (she is a recurring character from season three to the end of the show in season eight). She is very very good at her job. But when it comes to interacting with other characters, not so much. She is an awesome character though, and ends up being one of the only people Jack can count on in the end.

Well everyone think she's superwoman, but she's quite sweet. :D ). And very misjudged.
