I'm pretty sure every time a person watches Glee, somebody's pet dog gets butchered for food in a shifty Chinese restaurant as the Gods' punishment

I think I wouldn't mind if the musical side would have been actually good. I wanted to like it. But no, the way the songs are handled paints the show as really cliché and unthoughtful. Like when they'd done Sing by My Chemical Romance, they tried really hard to do 'rock', which is something I can't stand with cover artists. You need to use emotions when you preform a song, not jump up and down showing off your diversity because you actually include more than one genre of music.

Wait... Just discovered their version of One. It's one (heh) of my favourite songs, and it sounds good! Not sure what was the context of this scene, though I'd like to know:

Ooh, big surprise, a hit TV show sucks!

I liked the first two seasons. But I love musicals, so, eh. Whatever.

Can't remember exactly but basically he used to be on the football team but is now paraplegic because of some accident. I usually skip past parts where Rachel sings.

I am very resistent when it comes to TV series in general. And musicals. And American TV in general. So... you can imagine how I felt about "Glee" when I first saw it.

But then Darren Criss joined the show for the second season. <3

I mainly watch it for Chris Colfer and Darren Criss. And Jayma Mays and Jane Lynch.

Dude... My DAD. My big, hairy, bearded dad watches Glee.

...And I give him no end of s**t for it.

Never watched it because the idea of the show sounds ret*d to me. "Hey, lets take other people's popular music and have actors in their twenties playing teens sing in a soap opera high school?" I've gone out of my way to avoid watching this program.

In other words, the show is "douchey".

The first season was actually pretty good. I don't usually like teen dramas and musicals, but Glee worked, but only for one season. I think they are now more concerned about selling singles on itunes than making a good TV show. Also, the lesbian character coming out by singing "I Kissed a GIrl" by Katy Perry? Awful. And the girl who said "I'm self-diagnosed with Asperger's so I can say whatever I want." Terrible. It has become a show that champions some minorities and marginalizes and mocks others. Bleh.

I watched the Glee episode with one of my favorite singers, Ricky Martin, who plays a spanish teacher. I thought it was very good. I am looking forward for the Glee episode with another of my favorite singers, Gloria Estefan, who plays Santanas mom.

Off-topic, ish, but I don't find the Katy Perry song offensive, and I can't get the issue through my head at all. :?

I don't get the point of watching a tv show you don't like.
I don't know if I like Glee, but the premise seems so far from anything I'd enjoy I've avoided it altogether.

I mostly watch shows that either are some sort of sci-fi/fantasy/supernatural type show or anime, not shows about people leading their boring normal lives.

The only show I currently watch that has new episodes is Vampire Diaries.
