In the movie X-Men "The last stand" (2009) they find a cure for their capabilities and approximately 83 minutes into the movie they shout "we don't need any cure". Doesn't take a rocket science to see some parallels.

The X-Men were created by writer Stan Lee and artist Jack Kirby in 1963. Stan Lee created Marvel Comics and many of its colorful characters, bizarre worlds, and strange cultures. If you consider the contents of the entire X-Men comic series and Marvel Comics from 1960s, 1970s, 1980s etc, it is indeed very brilliant, creative and wonderful. So I am thinking, could Stan Lee have Aspergers? If so, did he inadvertently write an Asperger perspective into the characters and stories? I do not know the answer. Maybe someone should go and ask Stan Lee.

I've seen Stan Lee interviewed numerous times, and he comes across as very social to the point that I'd seriously have my doubts.

Or he might be able to pass as NT? There are AS people who have successfully created a NT persona.

It definitely resonated with my feelings about AS at the time, and that's why I enjoyed this movie, even though a lot of critics and X-Men fans didn't seem so crazy about it.
