Angel Heart - Where private investigator Harry Angel (Mickey Roarke) discovers the truth about the man he is supposed to find, Johny Favorite, himself, and the true identity of his employer, Louis Cypher (Robert DeNiro). For those who haven't seen this movie yet, I won't spoil it with too much information.

This was a good movie. I was kind of able to predict who Cypher really was, but the location of Johnny made for a nice twist that I didn't expect.

Damn! How could I have forgotten that revelatory line: "I should have killed you in Cincinnati."

It's amazing. Omar Sharif is in it. I thought it was really well made. The cinematography, the writing the acting. I don't know what I was expecting. I guess it was so much better than what I thoght it would be going in.

I just saw The Others for the first time yesterday. I don't know if other people saw the twist coming, but I didn't. The first act was kind of slow, but the film picked up momentum in the second one.

How about The Shawshank Redemption when everyone discovers Andy Dufresne has escaped and the warden discovers the big hole behind the poster after he throws the rock.

How about in Scream when it turns out that Billy Nolan really IS the killer along with a partner.

How about in Tangled when Rapunzel discovers that she is the lost princess by looking at that sun symbol and has a flashback to her childhood. You'd think someone would have figured it out. Flynn Ryder A.K.A. Eugene Fitzherbert knows about the lost princess when Rapunzel asks him about the lanterns that always appear on her birthday and yet he didn't know the princess' name or the fact that she couldn't get a bit of a hint when it comes to the lost princess + her birthday = the lanterns. But still a great movie non the less and one of Disney's best.

Planet of the Apes is memorable.
no one has mentioned yet The Spanish Prisoner.
