Of course they revisited/"redid" Wrath of Khan. The whole point is that this is an alternate continuity to how things happened originally (in TOS and the first 6 films), so showing parallels to these events makes perfect sense.

The reversal of the scene between Spock and Kirk in the radiation chamber was beautifully done (and yes, I am a long-time Trekkie). I actually wondered if they weren't going to "kill" Kirk in a similar fashion...or even have him stay dead. With events having played out as they did, wonder how they're going to parallel Star Trek III, if at all?

These films are less "remakes" then "reboots" or "reimaginings", and I like what I've seen so far. :)
