I saw it. It was very dark, especially when compared to Christopher Reeves' movies. Lots of action and special effects, but Superman was rather. . . flawed as a superhero here. I mean he was not exactly like the way we know him. Overall, I have mixed feelings about the film.

Oddly enough, there was no Lex Luthor here, but there was a brief viewing of a truck with LexCorp on it.

I loved Man of Steel! Being a huge DC comics fan, I was very happy with the movie! I hope for a 2nd movie and a Justice League movie very soon. The only thing that keeps bugging me is the Ihop, 7 Eleven being shown to much, and even Sears??? haha other than that I enjoyed it.

Obviously IHOP paid a lot for the number of times they showed up. :)

We watched the movie last night and really liked it. I am also hoping for a 2nd movie but I think this one was a bomb in the theaters. Really too bad

Filming started last month, though, at Weingart Stadium, Monterey Park CA. Nothing too fancy as of yet, though, they shot a football match between the Gotham and Metropolis teams. The movie is planned to be released in July 2015. Ben Affleck is said to appear in the role of Batman.
