Great films, and a great universe. I haven't read the comics or seen the TV show, but yeah.

I can understand seeing some aspie parrellels, but I'm not sure it's 100% accurate. The mutants in X-Men aren't disabled like we are. They're scorned for being different, and feared because they're misunderstood, yes...but many of them would still be capable in social situations if not for that. Not trying to be offensive, but a lot of us aspies would still be bumbling social buffoons even if everybody knew about us and accepted us as we were. The X-Men's powers don't usually have obvious drawbacks, at least not until after they learn to control them. Rogue is an exception. Many of us may have intellectual and creative gifts, but there are a lot of downsides to being an aspie too--downsides that you can't always pin on the rest of the world--and that's not quite the same thing as having a supernatural ability without drawbacks.
