To my understanding, isn't it true that Dr. Phil isn't even a psychologist? I used to like his style, and his book (Self Matters), but I now agree that he over-generalizes too often and tells people what to do instead of letting them figure it out (though some people, of course, need a welcome kick in the nuts).
