It's more like the original Mr. Bean than the last movie was

I loved Mr Bean when I was a kid. I've also seen the first film, but it wasn't as good as the TV series, even though it had some funny moments, it seems his character was changed to appeal to the American audience. I'd like to see the new movie though. :)

I grew up with the Mr Bean series up until it finished when I was about 10, and it still features in my regular video-viewings to this day. I can't be bothered to replace all the old TV recordings with DVD versions so I still have to use my cranky old VHS player but it is good to see all the old advert breaks and wallow in the nostalgia. :D

My favourite Bean moment? Either getting the Turkey stuck on his head in the 1993 Christmas special or when he drove his Mini from an armchair on the roof and crashed it into a bedding lorry - all those feathers.

Mr. Bean kinda seems like he has an ASD to me. Has anyone else thought of the same thing?

He is meant to. The character was based on a relative with autism, apparently.

I don't know about any of the films, cartoons or offshoots but the original series was great slapstick. I love the episode where he played mini-golf.
