Bought the DVD at a ridiculously low price.
Too surreal for me get interested in though. At least for now. My mind ain't really up for it right now -- to busy behaving surreal itself.

Where did you buy it, and at what price? I feel like I live in a monty python show most days. All I have to do is watch the news! LOL

the only part of the movie that is true to the series is that aeon and trevor have sex. but they make up a previous romance for the excuse to have sex in the movie...in the tv show, it was just pure animalistic sex and nothing more. in fact i think they killed each other a couple times immediately after.

It’s really too bad they didn’t do a better job on the movie. The animated series had some great concepts and characters. They could have just “cut and paste” to make a better film. What a waste…

Aeon Flux

Director: Karyn Kusama

Writers: Phil Hay
Matt Manfredi

Production Costs: $62 million!! !

the thing is that the show was never intended to have a real storyline or anything resembling a cohesive plot. if they did then then they wouldn't have killed aeon in almost every episode.

I loved Aeon Flux - it was just such a demented premise, but it worked really well. Some of the dialogue was a bit... off-centre... but otherwise the whole dystopian setting was very enjoyable to watch. One of the episodes I remember the most is the one where a woman gets shot in the spine trying to escape Bregna, and subsequently gets a bionic implant to help her walk again - and then, when she's trying to cross the Bregnan border, gets her legs cut off by the very lasers she constructed during her day job

I love Aeon Flux. Peter Chung is a psychological genius
for creating this cartoon!!
