Ice Cream Parlour scene from 'Girl, Interrupted' (about a group of females in a psych unit in the '60s) Very funny scene.

Two clips from a great '70s kids tv series called 'Children of the stones'.

Here's a really well done but very disturbing fight scene from the movie "Oldboy":

I haven't seen the rest of the movie. It's one of those movies that I'm honestly too scared to watch. I think that this is a brilliant scene, and that I'd probably respect the movie if I saw it, but it's supposed to be so disturbing and sad throughout that it just might be too much for me.

One more. This is a 10 minute chunk from the comedic fantasy-camp-horror "Army of Darkness" (AKA Evil Dead III). It includes the windmill scene ("LONDON BRIDGES FALLING DOWN!"), the Good/Bad Ash scene, and the scene with the 3 Necronimicons. XD Enjoy!

Lately I'd say Zhora's Retirement in Blade Runner, though I wouldn't say I enjoy it.
Warning, the film was rated 15 in the UK.

Here's another one, Frankenstein and the Girl, from 1931. They don't make them like this anymore!
I had a such a strange mixture of feelings when I first saw this scene. Apparently it was censored for many years.
Perhaps not suitable for younger viewers.

The Truman Show - I love this movie. I really do like Jim Carrey... in this sort of role. He doesn't do enough of this sort of thing. Anyway, this part is the best, where he knows, he really knows something is wrong and fights desperately to escape. You'd think his viewers would rise in outrage, but no... And the contract whore that is his wife, wow.

From The Sixth Sense, I still don't know why I like this scene so much, it's awful, really. But seeing all the people staring the woman down and knowing she won't be able to do the same thing to the younger sister is satisfying. And of course, the kid is doing something good with his ability.

Harold and Maude - a movie with so many great moments that you really should see it all... but this is special. Harold, on being told by his wealthy and controlling mother that she thinks he needs to grow up (after he fakes his suicide repeatedly and then drives away the girls from the dating service she sent for "They screen out the fat and the ugly...") and that she's going to have his uncle draft him into the service... well, he and his new friend Maude combine their skills to stage this act to get him out of it.

Diwale Dulhania Le Jayenge - Our hero is not getting along with the heroine, of course... it's early in the movie. She got sick of hearing him brag to her girl friend about his piano skills and set him up for public humiliation for it. So of course he has to mess with her before showing his words to be nothing but the truth. Then, since this is Bollywood, he must gloat with a peppy song and kooky dance routine. I just have to chuckle at the moves, even the very steps in the dance seem to be teasing the girl.

I love this movie.

I could go on but I'll limit myself to just one more.

Arsenic and Old Lace - another wonderful movie with a few even more wonderful stand-out moments. This one is so surreal that it works somehow. And in such an old movie, too.

To many good choices for this topic. I have to go with the Fifth Element taxi chase scene cause it has some good music in it, its good and won't be removed for copyright violation. :D

Also the movie Leon the Professional is full of good scenes. Couldn't find anything on youtube that wasn't full of spoilers except this.

And just to be completely surreal Paprika. Ill just link that since I already posted 2.

Nic Cage's rant about misfiling in Vampire's Kiss

Travis Bickle confronting Betsy in Taxi Driver (Has some harsh language)

And finally, the funniest moment in Kiss Kiss Bang Bang (Has violence and harsh language)
