I am a BIG musical theatre geek! My entire family is. My dad was in 'A Chorus Line'. I am actually writing this post while watching the Tony Awards!

Last year I saw these shows on Broadway:
--The Little Shop of Horrors
--The Producers (with Nathan Lane and Matthew Broderick)
--42nd Street
--Gypsy (with Bernadette Peters)
--The Lion King
--Aida
--Thoroughly Modern Millie
--Hairspray (with Harvey Fierstein)

Stuff I have to see next time (or I am going to throw a fit):
--Wicked
--Spamalot
--Avenue Q

But I really love almost every musical ever.

I now have another one I need to see. Next time I go to New York I have to see 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee'. It looks fab!

Oh, man! You are so lucky. I wish I could've seen Ethel Merman perform, but she died three years before I was born. :(

Der fliegende Hollander is really cool.

Rienzi is ok. . . . .but not my favorite.

The others are just too long to listen too (wagner)
