I can't get over the new Coldplay album, X&Y. A masterpeice. The first song, Square One, is my favourate.

However, there was a time when

I used to be greviously obcessed with "A Bug's Life". I listened to the film and the book cassette tape constantly. Now I am repulsed by the movie.

I am confused and self-concious as to how I braimwashed myself into thinking that "A Bug's Life" was the greatest thing in existance.

When the obcession was at it's worst, I took "A Bug's Life" coloring-in book on the last day of the eighth grade, plus there were thoughts in my head constantly telling me that my Mum and Dad were not my real parents, but were actors who have voiced for two of the main characters.

That was when I knew that I had a problem, but I couldn't do a thing about it - I was too absorbed.

Luckily, by the time I was 14, I had gotten into Star Trek. That was also an obcession, but not as bad as "A Bug's Life". I'd like to thank the Star Trek franchise for weaning me out of my "Bug's Life" obcession.

It was literally like I was taking methedone for a long-term heroin addiction.

But that was just one of many film obcessions that I had, which had stunted my mental maturity and took me to a boundary of existance between fantasy and reality. It was (and still is) hard to navigate between the two.

But hey, that is half the b***h of having an autistic spectrum disorder

Sometimes, I obsess about a song by playing it over and over and over. That means I like it.

I've been listening to the same series of George Carlin comedy hours on MP3 for the last 9 hours.

I am enjoying myself more than if i was eating a big double cheeseburger, i swear.

I've lost track of how many times I've watched anything Star Wars or Pixar, which NEVER grows old.

Speaking of Star Wars, aside from "Behind Blue Eyes" by The Who(Which I'm severely addicted to), the only music I currently listen to are orchestral soundtracks--and obviously, SW's themes are at the forefront. I have a playlist consisting of the main themes in the saga which repeats over and over and over again.

This also happens with the wrestling media in my hard drive. For example: I can't watch the 2002 Royal Rumble match without first directly skipping to the part where Undertaker beats the living daylights out of Maven

I used to have an obsession with "The Secret of Nimh" when I was little. But that was before the days of VCRs and I could only watch it when it was on TV and when my grandfather wasn't looking at something else. I had a fit when I didn't know it was coming on one time until I caught the ending credits. I had the book, however. And I would it read over and over, hoping I would find out something new about the characters, even resorting to reading the publishing information in small print.

My seven year-old brother, until he was four, watched "Toy Story" constantly about three times a day on average. I think we may have another Aspie on our hands.

I used to watch 'Apollo 13' repeatedly at one point in my life. Then, when I got over 'Apollo 13', I started obsessing on the film 'Toy Story'. And after I got over Toy Story, I obsessed over 'Star Wars' and later 'Star Trek' (Not any particular series or episode, just Star Trek in general.) More recently, I've listened to the tracks on 'Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' repeatedly (Usually fastforwarding to 'Being for the Benefit of Mr. Kite' or 'Within you without you'). Lately, I've become obsessive over a particular episode of 'Cowboy Bebop'. ('Ballad of Fallen Angels'- In large part because of the one song about 'Rain'.)

I've watched Police Academy heaps of times and never got sick of it but with most movies, I see them once and that's it - I'm not interested in watching again (except for a few).

Sometimes, I like to play the same song over and over eg. some Alan Parsons Project songs such as "Winding Me Up" and "Prime Time".

When i was a young child i'd watch a taped episode of the A Team over & over again all day long and i'd scream the place down as soon as it ended. Mum would have to quickly rewind the tape & play it over. WWF or WWE as it's known now i'd also be hooked into to. As i've got older [now 22] my obcessions with TV show's film music etc have frazzled out, While there's always gonna be plenty of interests i have. I no longer ever develop them into obcessions

I don't, but my friend does; she sometimes says that she was watching the same movie the third time that day! I would go crazy if I did that (listening to music or watching a movie repeatedly). I like the surprise sometimes (mainly for movies); I also don't like getting tired of some of my favorite tunes that I like listening to (ex. Watermelon Man). That just my personality, though.

Movies are subject to several repeats by me. I don't how many times I've seen Collateral, but I would say at the least, 20. My brother especially wonders what the hell is wrong with me when dialogue between us is like this...

'What are you watching?'
'Pitch Black.'
'Didn't you watch that a week ago?'
'Yeah.'
'So why are you watching it now?'
'Because it's a good movie.' *raises eyebrow and walks away*

As for music, I tend to only listen to music that I hear in movies, but I can often just let it play over and over.
