More fun zombie movies...

Night of the Living Deb [2015]
maybe a low R?

Cockneys vs Zombies [2012]
PG-13? maybe a low R?
Cast includes 86-year old (at the time) Honor Blackman, one of the first--if not the first--female TV action heroes.

And a zombie movie movie...

Zombie Hamlet [2012]
Not rated but possible PG
Perhaps not quite as good as the two above but still fun, plus the cast includes:
- 72-year old John Amos
- 86-year old June Lockhart (still looking good!)
also: John de Lancie, Shelley Long, Jason Mewes, and Hulk Hogan.

Scandinavian:
Ulvesommer
Fritt Vilt
Rovdyr
Død snø
Besökerna
Det okända

Japanese:
Wolf children
Confessions
One missed call

Korean:
My wife is a gangster 1 + 2
Host

German:
in sieben Tagen bist du tot

Even though I am not much into medical procedurals, I thought "Debbie Does Dialysis" was a far better movie.

to keep this going with the Japanese films:
Go! Go! Second time virgin!
United red army
the emperor's naked army marches on
Tekkon Kinkreet
Love exposure

Chinese to mix things up:
Ash is purest white

and finally, German:
Werner Herzog's remake of Nosferatu
(I prefer it over the F.W.Murnau one)

Japanese?

I'm not going to post a trailer for Vampire Girl vs Frankenstein Girl [2009] or RoboGeisha [2009].
I'm not even going to recommend them...unless you want to see a gory, incredibly strange and strangely fascinating movie, in which case I do recommend them.

Chinese?

Journey to the West [2013]
Tagline: "It's time to kick some legendary tale. "
It's an amusing, reasonable way to spend two hours.

Its sequel, Journey to the West: The Demons Strike Back [2017] (trailer), is perhaps less memorable but is OK.

Finnish/German/Australian/French/Norwegian/Belgian/Danish/UKish?

Iron Sky [2012]
Tagline: "In 1945 The Nazis Went To The Moon. In 2018 They Are Coming Back."
Fun flick!

It's sequel, Iron Sky: The Coming Race [2019] (trailer), less so. But I'm going to blame it on being an Aspie, I like complete sets.

How about a Norwegian zombie flick?

Dead Snow [2009]
Tagline: "Ein! Zwei! Die!"
More horror than humor. College kids in a remote cabin--what could go wrong? Still, a fun flick.

The sequel, Dead Snow 2: Red vs. Dead [2014] (trailer) has more comedy, but keeps the horror...maybe better than its predecessor?

Identity (ensemble "slasher film" released in 2003)

Dominion: Prequel to The Exorcist (the "original version" of Exorcist: The Beginning)

Pi (Darren Aronofsky's debut film released in 1998)

Punch-Drunk Love (IMO is Adam Sandler's best movie)

A History of Violence (based off of the graphic novel of the same name)

THX 1138 (George Lucas' debut film released in 1971)

Predestination [2014]
Tagline: "To save the future, he must reshape the past."
Based on a Robert Heinlein short story that was full of twists. To have enough story for a feature-length film they had to add more twists!

THE LESS YOU KNOW ABOUT THIS MOVIE WHEN YOU WATCH IT, THE BETTER!

Primer [2004]
Tagline: "What happens if it actually works?"
The estimated budget for the entire film was $7,000 (seven thousand).

This movie is confusing. The Producer/Writer/Director/Co-star (who had a bunch of other roles on the film, as well) assures us that the characters are also confused.

Really good robot flicks folk have probably heard of: i, Robot [2004], Ex Machina [2014], and Chappie [2015].

But maybe some've missed: Automata [2014]
Tagline: "Your time is coming to an end. Ours is now beginning."
Countries of origin: Spain & Bulgaria (is shlaifu smiling, again?). Starring and co-produced by Antonio Banderas.
This post-climate change catastrophe movie is a stronger look at the beginning of the "Technological Singularity" than the movies above.

Yes, Moon [2009] is wonderful!

Xuan Zang (2016), excellent movie.

Red Cliff parts one and two.

Musa the warrior.

Night Watch (2004, Russia).

Man bites dog (1992). Really weird.

Straight to Hell (1987). Punk rock spaghetti western. And now that I've spent an hour or so trying to find the name of it, I've got to go see if I can find a copy of it, because I've only seen it once so far.

(Editing to add)

Charlie's Country. I'd really like to find a copy of it with English subtitles.

Float like a Butterfly. I thought it was interesting to see a movie about Irish Gypsies.

Anything Uwe Boll.

And now I have to stay out of this thread, because weird and obscure movies are kind of a thing for me, and I'll end up with a massive list of them here if I don't stop. And that will take a long time, and probably involve watching a lot more movies.

oooh. there's some I haven't seen, here.
But... "Best Movie no-one has ever heard of" and your answer is "Anything Uwe Boll"? I mean... he has made a decent film or two, inbetween a body of work only Uwe Boll is ready to defend.
