Ok, well, I just had about 8 days off from work and since I was stung up in a hospital bed I pretty much just sat there and watched Discovery, Travel, and Food Network all day. After watching a lot more episodes of Dirty Jobs, definitely like the show. The only question I got left with, was the second trip to Savoy Alligator Ranch their last episode? I know Mike was going on about needing new assignments, seems like they either had no booking agent for him or who ever was supposed to be doing it was thumbing it pretty deep, and after all that they had one of the glide boats flip and they lost about $100k in camera equipment.
Other than that I ended up getting stuck on a few more:
Anthony Bordain - No Reservation: just interesting to watch the travel and culture. After that though I'm really getting an itch to go to the nearest international market to make some Indonesian, African, and all kinds of other stuff.
Man v. Wild - The guy's clearly insane but at the same time, being he's a trainer for British special forces and he's a major expert on survival skills they've got the right man for the job. I can relate to why he does what he does to a point, being in exotic places like that and seeing them for yourself has to be priceless; sacrifices of course come in terms of getting hacked up by all kinds of brush, drinking your own urin, eating grubs, and fighting with mosquitoes from Jumanji.
How its Made - Gets a little boring at times but when they do have something that catches my eye and makes me wonder its a really great show.
Alton Brown's Good Eats - I was already watching this a lot before just because I liked how he explained a lot of what was done and why with certain cooking processes, real practical and on point tips and tricks, just that now I'm pretty sure I'll be raiding the Food network website and raiding all the Alton Brown recipes I can get.
