I would have thought by the time you get to that age you really struggle to remember things.

If I struggle to remember anything from the 60's in detail, it's not because of my age. 8)

Yeah, I like the idea of the five-day limit, too...I mean, how much money does one person really need? (I know, what is won is typically far superfluous to actual need, but the point still stands)

Really? I didn't know that. I always assumed that you were penalized for not answering in the form of a question no matter what.

By the way, on Win Ben Stein's Money, if you answered in the form of a question, you had to wear a dunce cap. :D

And I agree that they should go back to the five-day rule. The producers have already gotten what they wanted out of that rule, and - well I'm sure you all know and hate the cliche about lightning.

If I was planning on trying out for a quiz show soon, I would watch Jeopardy, otherwise I'd watch ESPN or NFL Network :D

Jeopardy all the way! Wheel has too much chance involved, something that you can't be sure it'll work out your way. Jeopardy (modern version) has some element of chance, like whether or not you'll get the daily double or what questions will be asked, but that's about all. Each contestent (in theory) has an equal chance at getting to answer each question. In Wheel, it will depend on how each person spins the wheel, aka pure chance.

I've always thought that games based off more skill than luck were both easier and more fun than those based off luck alone. In other words, I much prefer chess (or even checkers) to a card game that requires little skill. ;)

Litguy, back when GSN was Game Show Network, they showed finales of game shows on New Year's Eve of 1999. The first of these shows was Art Fleming's last Jeopardy!. Charles Nelson Reilly was the host.

Mikibacsi, on Jeopardy! they are lenient, as for people who haven't seen the show very much, they want to be fair for them. However, in the Double Jeopardy round, you are penalized because the stakes are higher. It's like they think, "You should have known to phrase your answer in the form of a question before. That's the price for not remembering now." I knew that on Win Ben Stein's Money, if you phrase your answer in the form of a question, you had to wear a dunce cap.
