I see you live in Schweiz... what do you think of Globi and Pingu?

Pingu is quite cute, but Globi is a bit too basic for me. I've grudgingly come to acknowledge that Germans really do have a sense of humour (Nichtlustig, Ruthe, Geile Zeit), but I can't say the same for my fellow Swiss. Most Swiss comedies are awful, and I never watch Swiss television.

Indeed, I'll have to judge for myself when I get to Switz this summer. I've found some funny stuff on YouTube, though. There's the banned pingu "lavatory" episode, and some Pirates of the Carribean spoofs:

Nope. I do have a sense of humor--I love some funny things--but there's plenty I don't find the least bit funny. Few modern comedies make me laugh. I'd take "Balls of Fury" over "Superbad" anyday, because the former made me laugh my ass off and the latter didn't, but everyone disagrees with me. I like my comedy to be as silly as possible, making absolutely no sense and turning into outward lunacy.

I go for the witty absurd types. Monty Python's (film) and Douglas Adams (book) are the best IMO.
