My favourite anime are Wolf's Rain (Only show I've ever seen where I liked -all of the characters), Cowboy Bebop, and Escaflowne. Tho' I also liked .hack//sign, Rurouni Kenshin, Neon Genesis Evangelion, and most of Miyazaki's films.
And one I really, really recommend is 'Serial Experiments Lain'. That show is freaky, but good because of it. Just don't watch it when you're in a mentally fragile state. [/i]

Akira: This one is the bar of all anime. It is, IMO, one of the most extraordinary animated films ever made. It is based on a complicated manga that runs over 2,000 pages long, and since it is condensed into a two hour movie, the plot is rather convoluted and confusing. But this rather adds to the chaotic urgency of this powerful, post-apocalyptic orgy of destructive creation and metaphysical meaning.

-lol that was the first anima I ever watched and at 2am great way to be intruded.

The Gundam series are pretty good, and Evangelions ok

I do NOT reccomend any of the Dragonball series (no offence to any fans *cough* chris *cough*)

Meh, I watch DB for mindless violence. Same reason I watch Bruce Lee.

I'm also starting to watch other animes.

Cowboy Bebops a good show. Ive not seen .hack//sign, but the legend of the twilight spinoff mangas can be quite funny. From what ive herd about it on this forum, Wolfs Rain sounds quite intersting.

The PERFECT sci-fi epic, kicks the crack out of Robotech

Macross Zero:
The most expensive OVA ever created, and amazing. I actually cried at the ending because it was so beautful.

NOTHING like the game, it takes some game content and rolls in in the a perfect gangster anime.

Transformers Superlink:

I didn't really like them all that much, but that was probably only because they seemed a bit shallow by comparison.

I think a few peeple mite be intersted to no that Jubei was actaully a reel person, who disappeard from historical record for 12 yeers or so, and the film was based on speculation about what mite have happened during that time.

I've never seen the movie 'Ninja Scroll', but I saw the series. It was mildy entertaining, but didn't have much in the way of character development (The most interesting character was killed off in the first episode).

Same here. :D

I know Jubei is a historical figure, but I know little of him, unfortunately.
