My list:

1. Empire Strikes Back
2. A New Hope
3. Return of the Jedi
4. Revenge of the Sith
5. Phantom Menace / Attack of the Clones (tied)

I'm surprised that RotS is doing as well as it is in the poll... but it really wasn't that bad I guess (though it still had quite a few bits that annoyed me)

If You would had (Return of the Jedi) in poll I would have voted for that one instead of (The Empire Strikes Back) then.

Hi,
My understanding is that there will be 3-D releases in the future of all of the films. I hope this comes to fruition.

My favorite is the original as it started it all!! Empire is a close runner up in my book!! Phantom Menace, well, barely watchable!! In my humble opinion!!

Look don't like My ranking tough. That is how I ranked them, the classic one are better even though they are dated. The new one might better special effects than the classic ones. I reversed order the ranking from the classic ones as my favorites. the new ones are okay in the order I have them.

You must remember I am a old guy understand.

Actaully, its set during the early years of the rebellion, but before A New Hope. Probably around about the same time as Empire at War, come to think of it... (new strategy game comin out next year).

I hadnt herd that they were committed to makin 100 episodes thogh.

Oh, and theres no halfway between the clone wars and the rebellion - the rebellion started during the Clone Wars when Bail Organa decided something had to be done about Palpatine. The first major conflict of the rebellion - Order 66, and the Battle of Monument Plaza (the Jedi Temple was knocked down and the area became known as Monument Plaza) - was a few hours before the documented end of the clone wars, when Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader killed the CIS council and deactivated the Confederacy's droid armies.

Well I can't go head to head with you in the star wars knowledge department, and I wont even try for obvious reasons. But the reason I knew they were making 100 episodes was because it was a Lucasarts Press Release that I got in my film email and the quote about being set half between the clone wars and rebellion was what was actually stated within that. Although, comparing the original trilogy to the new trilogy, its obvious that Lucas is no stranger to the word inconsistency heh.

I think what it ment was halfway between ep 3 and 4, in the erly days of the rebellion, before it reelly got underway.

Revenge of the Sith was brilliant!! !

I loved the space battle at the beginning - those Republic Star Destroyers were cool!! ! 8)

It was pleasing seeing those corporate Trade Federation as*holes get their arses kicked by the Republic - I wish we could punish the corporations in a similar way in real life!!

Oh, and my mum has got a crush on General Grievous!! !!

Yeh me to but the thing with rots is the consequences of that battle wood have probably been better had the outcome been different.

If the Invisible Hand had escaped with Palpatine and Grievous aboard, Grievous wood have probably killed Palpatine, not nowing he was his master (which i no for a fact he didnt), which wood meen Anakin mite not have turned, and Dooku wood have been the last of the Sith, meening the Sith wood have only had political control over HALF the galaxy, not all of it. If that was the case, then despite the fact that the Republic wood have been delt a serius moral blow, I dont think it wood be enuff to make the Jedi back down in the face of the Confederacy, at leest not when they new Dooku was a Sith, so democracy wood have had a chance in hell of surviving.

Thats an interesting point, actually Assassin!! ! The question is: how deep was the knowledge of the Sith plot in the Confederacy ranks??

If it was only Count Dooku that knew, then you may be right!! However, if Grievous knew as well, I don't know what would have happened!! :?

The entire corporate council new, cos they got a message from Palpatine in the guise of Sidious about halfway throogh rots. I no for a fact that Grievous didnt know - read Labyrinth of Evil, and the rots novelisation.
