Interesting video.

She has one of the same stims I do -- rubbing her arms.

I noticed that when she talks, she probably looks the way I do (when I force myself to look people in the eyes). Because of my discomfort, I'm really fidgety. I usually just play with my fingers/rings/fingernails, but the way she fidgets and has to sort of force herself to look at the interviewer really reminds me of me.

Craig Nicholls from the band 'The Vines', and Ladyhawke, who is an electropop singer.

I've always suspected that John Linnell (one of the two Johns from the group They Might Be Giants) has it.

Quote:
"I have a personal, a real obsession, with melody and harmony. I can really never get enough of that kind of thing. I don't think too much about the cultural context of what we're doing. I think John [Flansburgh] is more on that end of it. He thinks more in terms of the larger picture, the larger meaning of what we're doing. I'm more into the technical end: the chords and the rhythms and the melodies."

Listen to her on the commentaries for either Resident Evil or RE:Apocalypse.

I think Crispin Glover does, almost certainly. People often tell me I remind them of Crispin Glover.

I've seen interviews of Crispin Glover and I really get that "vibe"

Christian Bale, maybe?

Christian Bale. Interesting. What exactly prompted his rant on the set of Terminator 4? If he's the sort who needs things to be "just so" and can't stand to have routines being interrupted, that could be indicative of AS.

Meh, in Christian Bale's case I think it's got more to do with the fact that he has anger issues for one reason or another. I only lash out verbally, and when I feel as if I'm about to, I usually go isolate myself from others to cool off some.

I've seen him perform on stage, and met him very briefly. If he's not, I'll eat a rat.

I wonder if David Mitchell (UK comedian) is?
I get a bit of a vibe off him. If you don't know who he is, check him out because he's very funny and seems like a lovely guy too.

That's interesting about Daryl Hannah and she's not even on that wiki list.

I cant honestly say that I buy other celebrities such as Steven Speilberg or Dan Akroyd having this unless I see them actually looking down all the time, flap their hands, pace around or walk and interact as if they have actual Aspie stims. They must be really good at hiding their quirks if they really do have AS.

Is this an Aspie trait then?

I've wondered lately whether Paul Simon might be an Aspie. His song "I Am A Rock" and his many songs about difficulty communicating sound like they were written by someone with AS. Also, he often seems very ill at ease onstage.

Just speculation.

OHMYGOD! YES! That song is soo awesome and sooo aspie!

Oh and even though people have mentioned this to death, I have good reason to believe that Tim Burton has AS.

For me it is

Though I really should've meant to say poor eye contact.

I've seen Steven Speilberg in interviews and his eye contact is surprisingly good, heh.
