A lot of it. They study. My sister's degree was in religious theology and philosophy. Christians don't just go through life being happy-clappy and sticking their fingers in their ears over criticism, at least not all of them. They analyse, they consider, they discuss, they debate. It's not just blind faith. They question their beliefs. They question the Bible.

I am sad to say that I don't think I have met a single christian that does this.
Back at home everyone just follows christianity blindly, they don't question, you ask them one and they won't have a clue.

I am sadly starting to find that more and more christians do just follow blindly, particularly in the US.

Okay, I won't bother to go into detail - took to long last time, and bloody optus!
Any case, roughly, it is mathematically impossible to examine a religion in 100% detail, abstract and literal, and not reach the conclusion religion is bollocks without error or bias on your part - much as a sum cannot have a wrong answer except by misinterpretation or mistake by whoever is attempting the sum.
I don't really care to elaborate again, it's too much of a pain in the ass.
But, ultimately, though I appreciate them not blindly following, it is almost worse, because the result is the same, but if true scientific process was applied, that result cannot be anything but different. It smacks of desires and mediocracy.

I pity you for being a person of pure logic. But then, I'm sure you do the same vice versa.

Bill Maher is plain nasty! He says the rudest things under the guise of being "Politically Incorrect." He has used terms like "ret*d" freely.

I have just finished watching this movie
This thread is a little old but I am sure many more people have watched by now.
I absolutly live and breath the message this movie is sending, if we dont get our act together, religion is going to spell the end of the world
I belive this is such a important topic, there has to be others on hear that have seen it, or just have a opion about it.

I enjoyed "Religulous" but felt ti could have done without the monologue at the end. Felt like Maher got concerned the movie itself didn't get his message across and so opted for beating the audience over the head.
