Empire FTW.. brilliant dramatic poise, elegantly done. One of the best mid-trilogy pieces ever done. Dark.. much darker than the others.

C-3PO and R2-D2 kick all of their butts!! !!

I love the series Droids, I don't care what anybody says, but I think it's better than Clone Wars.

I AM A HUGE FAN OF STAR WARS!

My favourite films, in order of the ones I like best are:

1. Revenge of the Sith
2. Return of the Jedi
3. Empire Strikes Back
4. Attack of the Clones
5. A New Hope
6. The Phantom Menace

I'm quite a big fan, I've seen all the films, Revenge of the Sith about 45 times...

My favourite characters are:

Darth Nihilus
Boba Fett
Darth Revan
Mace Windu
Kit Fisto

Darth Nihilus, is the cool guy in my avatar.
Boba is of course the Mandalorian Bounty Hunter and son of Jango Fett
Darth Revan was a Sith Lord during the Old Republic Era
Mace Windu is a jedi master, and who I consider the best Lightsaber fighter in the Jedi Order...
Kit Fisto, is probably one of my favourite Jedi Knights, mainly because he's so layed back, and has a good sense of humour compared to other jedis.

I've seen all the movies(or the ones in the trilogy anyways), and just love it...

I like star wars, but I dont know if I can order up which are my favirouts, they are all good in their own ways. I dont even mind the political stuff as it is important to tell the story, you dont serously want a hollow story filled only with action do you. Also it was important to build up the story of Sideous for his plot to raise to power and it is a good plan to get yourself elected and then full power by creating and controling the enemy. That is what the sith do, they are often the most interesting characters, yet you often see only a few, mainly due to the rule of two that was put in place to stop the sith from having their own civil war. It would be cool to see a movie prior to the time before that, while there was still the big sith academies, in the movies you basicaly only see Sideous's plots, but I would like to compare him to the ancient lords, maybe even one like Nihilus that could destroy a planet with the force.

Well, there was something that could have started the beginning of the destruction of all force beings, it was started by Kaan, probably the most powerful sith lord of all. He came up with something called the Thought Bomb, which targeted all force sensitive beings of the force, enclosing them inside a sphere of dark energy.

Kaan, was eventually driven insane by the force, and belived that the Thought Bomb(Also called the Force, or Kaan Bomb) could be used during the wars between the Jedi and the Sith. Thinking that it would destroy the jedi, leaving the Sith powerful enough to survive, he thought of it as the ultimate battle plan... He was wrong, very wrong...

After using the force Bomb, Kaan brought about his own death, resulting in every force being, both Jedi's and Sith Lords being destroyed. Kaan was also enclosed inside the bomb, with all the other beings, although at the time, Jedi and Sith lords who had ghosts, were rumoured to have been trapped inside the Valley of the Jedi, Apparently, Kaan's ghost seemed to have been able to escape his own trap.

If taken to the extreme, this could have destroyed all force beings, although not all Sith Lords would have been mad enough to try Kaans thought bomb, due to them being killed, it could have wiped out all existence, the thought Bomb was eventually destroyed by Darth Bane, who hoped that it could never be used again, and put the Sith in even more danger...

How it was made was only discovered later on by Darth Bane, who stumbled across Darth Revan's holocron, and used the information inside, to destroy it, that was the last known use of the Thought Bomb, and according to Wikipedia, the only one...

Darth Bane is the one that started the rule of 2 right, after getting the idea from some very rare sith Holocrons. You could kind of look at the whole movies as being a result of Bane's plan of destroying the Jedi.

It wasn't exactly him first though, he took it from Darth Revan, who got the idea from Exar Kun,

Basically, Bane thought that he would stop the other Sith Lords arguing by creating the Rule of Two, which was a system during which a Master, and an Apprentice and only them would rule over the galaxy, it was also similar to the Darth Sidious, and Darth Vader idea, during which Darth Sidious would get his hands on Luke, and kill Anakin, it was always how it went actually, there was:

Darth Maul(Killed and then Replaced)
Darth Tyranus or Count Dooku(Killed and then replaced)
Darth Vader, or Anakin Skywalker(Died of, Natural Causes, along with the injuries caused by Obi-Wan Kenobi)
Luke Skywalker(It would have actually happened if it wasn't for Vader)

Although this was the origional plan, Sidious actually broke the rule of two twice, when he was training both Maul and Darth Plagueis at once, and at one point, according to fans he was also rumoured to have thought Vergere.

Vergere was a Fosh Sith Lord who eventually came about to teach Jacen Solo who was the eldest son of Han Solo and Leia Organa Solo, after being taught by his Uncle, Luke Skywalker. He was one of the most powerful students at the training camp on Yavin 4, he soon turned to the dark side, and was eventually killed by his twin sister Jaina Solo

It also brought about the Rule of One, which was started by the Sith Lord Darth Krayt, who was taught by Ki-Adi-Mundi, and also the Jedi Tusken Raider Sharad Hett before he turned to the Dark side, and found Darth Bane's Holocron, and started up the Rule of One, which involved only one ruling the galaxy...

While Phantom Menace is a long way from my favourite, I still find a lot to like about it.

Qui-Gon is amazing... He's a character I'd like to have seen more of. So many unexplored facets. The difference between his perception of the force and Yoda's is fascinating. It's little wonder that Qui-Gon discovered how to "live in the force". There was an article I read somewhere which went into detail on the "living force" as opposed to the "the force that surrounds and binds us".

Palpatine's rise, particularly his early innocent appearances are great.

The droids and droidekas are cool... and the explanation for their replacement is good too.

Darth Maul is brilliant - and personally, I feel that his fighting moves are the best of all six films.

Apparently there is some thought that Qui-Gon may have been a Grey jedi, they are a type that would accept the force as a whole includeing the dark side, they were often wise, but were disliked for not realy choosing a side to go on. And he was not let in because he did not follow the rules to the fullest, and the jedi feard it, funny as Luke kind of ends up in a simular way and is in charge of the new Jedi. Also on another note part of what is also suposed to be learnt is that Sideous likes the total loyalty of droids, but they are not realy as dependable as that of humans in some ways, and it was kind of his wish to get an apretice that was a kind mix of both, ironicly that mix of droid and human threw him into the death star.

I just love that whole discussion about the boy who would bring balance to the force.

Qui-Gon was balanced.

Luke was balanced

Palpatine was very unbalanced

Yoda and Mace were quite unbalanced too... in their own way.

Hundreds of Good Jedi, Two Sith... a couple of balanced Jedi.

I'd say Anakin did bring balance to the force.

Anakin destroyed the organization of the Jedi, as well as a lot of their "wisdom" that had accreted unquestioned over the millenia.

Then he destroyed the Sith.

He made sure that there was exactly one Jedi remaining, who valued ethical rightness over the rules of the Jedi, and who was largely unburdened by their traditions.

Yes, Anakin Skywalker, the Chosen One, did indeed restore balance to the Force - just not in the way that the Jedi Council expected. :)
