Peter Jackson's (1992) "Braindead" from his horror-comedy period, long before "Lord Of The Rings"

Tree of Life. 2 hours of some creepy guy whispering stuff about his brother in my ear, mixed in with random scenes of dinosaurs, cosmic events, and people levitating upside-down.

The original version or the remake directed by the Coen Brothers?

The remake was better. Jeff Bridges is a better actor than John Wayne.

Wife and I rented "Ed Wood" starring Johnny Depp which was awesome and now that I think of it, maybe Ed Wood was an Aspie. So I decided to rent Plan 9 from Outer Space thinking it couldn't be that bad, and

Oh My God

It was. Hands down the worst movie I have ever seen.

Seriously somebody should pay YOU to watch it, not the other way around. I can't even remember the plot other than there are characters and nobody gives a s**t about their problems because you have no interest in it.

That sounds like a bad drug trip rather than a movie.

I would say Watchmen. It was too gory for me.

Transformers. So boring and really not my type.

Fast and furious. Jeez, really not to my liking.

I liked Plan 9. I thought it was funny, because every scene is inept in some way, and many cast members seem
ret*d or embarrassed to be in the picture.

I don't see a lot of movies, because I read reviews beforehand. Here are a few I can think of:

-Batman and Robin was pretty bad. I didn't like it on any level.
-John Carpenters, Ghosts of Mars was really disappointing considering he made so many great movies in the 80s.
-The SW Preq's. If you missed them, the feature length reviews of these by these guys, are more entertaining than any of the movies.

The critic is playing a fictional serial killer character, which is intended as a parody of SW fanboys. There's some course language.

2001 A Space Odyssey. It had no plot. It was just a bunch of short random mostly really boring clips that seemingly had nothing to do with anything.

I agree with you. Though the CG was great, the storyline sucked.

District 9, despite the extreme gore, was much better.

The Piano. I saw it on TV but turned it off it was disgusting.

The Candy man. It was too violent I'm not into bloodthirsty films.

Mamma Mia. I couldn't gel with the people in it the Musical was much better.

Maybe "Mamma Mia" on film would have been better if they used professional singers/dancers rather than people more distinguished for their acting ability. Meryl Streep was only okay as a singer - I can't sing at all, but most people who can sorta sing can sing as well or better than she can. Pierce Bronson couldn't sing at all - I actually cringed at his attempt. The ladies who played Meryl Streeps friends were terrible - no singing or dancing talent at all. It was a pathetic film.

Haha! I agree. I couldn't sit through Les Miserable and Russell Crowe.

Catwoman with Halle Berry.

Storm? Yes. Catwoman? No.
