Don't F*ck In The Woods.

Terrible horror film that might as well be soft core porn, where a group of college age friends go out on a camping trip in the woods, and end up being murdered by a monster (guy in a rubber suit).

Amityville 3

God knows how many Amityville films there are. I've seen the original one, which had loads of thunder and lightning and not much else, and another one featuring a doll's house for some reason. Amityville 3, made in 1983, appears to be influenced a fair bit by Poltergeist, especially towards the end.

It's a perfectly watchable film, but nothing special. The actors were all unknown to me, except for Meg Ryan in an early role. Released as a 3D version for showing in some cinemas, it would seem.

Watched "The Secret" based on the book of the same name. A warm, relaxing movie: no CGI, weapons, violence, just a well acted piece that is a most welcome diversion from our chaotic world.

^^Sounds good. Just looked it up.

Watched the 2020 adaptation of Du Maurier’s Rebecca. Loved the book in my teens and really loved this adaptation. Brilliantly cast with Lily James, Armie Hammer, Kristen Scott Thomas, Keeley Hawes and Sam Riley.

A really fun 90s throwback.
I wanted a mindless diversion and it delivered in spades.

Just rewatched the 1978 Dawn of the Dead on the new Second Sight 4K restoration. It still packs a punch and is pretty much the only zombie movie you need- The Walking Dead dragged the same shtick out over a thousand hours (or however long it lasted).

the andromeda strain - the omega man - the star trek movie series up to VIII - interstellar - 2001 a space odyssey - forbidden planet - silent running - the cage - there are others but i can't remember individual movies at this point, too many.
