the original edit of that movie had a scene that lasted about a minute but seemed forever, of faye dunaway and steve mcqueen exchanging spit in slow motion. YUCK! :eew: that was long ago trimmed down to a few seconds.

Wow! I guess that all stopped in the 1980s

i don't know when the studio edited that out but when i saw it on over-the-air broadcast tv in the late 60s, they showed that whole scene! :eew: but i have not seen that scene intact since then.

Jeepers Creepers. Meh, not as different from the same old overused “killer” movie plot as I hoped it might be (but suspected it wouldn’t be, so it didn’t exactly let me down, either). Now I can say I’ve seen it.

And now I’m going to go watch A Nightmare on Elm Street, right before I go to bed

I finished watching a movie called "Doctor Sleep". It is a supernatural horror movie that came out in 2019 but somehow I missed it in the theaters. It was actually quite good and I recommend it. It is a sequel to the movie "The Shining".

" dead again" which is a reincarnation-based murder mystery that takes place between 1948 and 1991. also, "defending your life" which is a reincarnation-based love story of sorts, both HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

Steve McQueen and Faye Duniway had great chemistry and easily
put their awesome charms on each other!

I will watch the 1998 remake at some point.

The Empty Man.

Surprisingly well made low budget horror film. A retired police detective follows evidence in the alleged suicides of local teens involving a bogeyman story, which leads him to a sinister cult posing as a New Age fad.

Spell.

After learning that his abusive, Voodoo practicing father has passed away, an African American businessman flies his family back to the home he had escaped from in a remote area of the rural south, when they are downed in an electrical storm. He awakens in an ancient house, injured and kept captive by the locals whom he realizes have far more in common with his late father than he had ever wanted to know. Decent horror flick.
