I'm watching The Shining. 8O The weather is very fitting.

Last night we watched To Kill a Mockingbird.

Good idea about the shining in this weather, adds to the atmosphere.

Also, I love to kill a mockingbird! One of my all time favorite movies

We just watched synchronic, didn't realize there was time travel in it. :D

I've always loved Mockingbird, as a book and a film. I used to think Gregory Peck had the voice of God. My boyfriend had read the book but never seen the film. He was amazed at how well it translated to film. We're both fans of Boo Radley.

As for The Shining, I've seen it before as well. It makes me cry. I suffer through it with empathy for Wendy and Danny. The story of her treatment as an actress makes it all the more macabre.

Gosh, I forgot how hard Saw III is to watch, for multiple reasons (watched it once, a few years ago, thought I should watch the series again now). Not saying it isn’t good, it just... really isn’t a “just watch it on a whim” movie. Can go into more detail, but don’t feel like it now.

Here in Spokane, there's a local shop called Boo Radley's, where books and subversive toys and curios are sold.

"To Kill a Mockingbird" is absolutely an American classic.

I agree it's best viewed in the dead of winter, not at Hallowe'en. ^

We have a foot and a half of snow here so it is perfect.

Environment Canada always forecasts snow amounts in centimetres.....but Canadians seem to measure their own snow accumulations in inches and feet.

There are movie theaters open in the county next to mine----but my county has no movies yet.
