Masque Of The Red Death.

Roger Corman film loosely based on Poe's fiction. Slow, cheesy, and overacted. Still fun to watch, especially Vincent Price as a Devil worshiping Prospero.

The New Mutants.

Not nearly as bad as everyone said it was. Mutant teens are brought to a "hospital" after committing acts of violence due to being unfamiliar with their abilities in order to help them control their powers... or are they?

Have you seen the TV show of the same name, based on the movie?

Yes! I liked it. Glad to see that they created a new group of characters.
There was another spinoff called Wellington Paranormal that I need to watch.

I hadn't known about the spinoff. I'll have to check it out.

Pretty good. It's stunning to look at, but I find it's visual artistry a little distracting at times, it can look a bit stylised and artificial if that makes any sense.
The story is okay, the characters are all great and it's a good way to end the trilogy. I don't think it's as good as either the first or second film, though, to me it does suffer from the third-movie-curse.
I can't quite put my finger on why, but the story doesn't feel as important as the first two films. The dialogue can be a bit clunky, the fight scenes are fewer and not as entertaining as before, I didn't find the main villain interesting, a lot of the jokes are call-backs or recycled from the first film.

I might be disappointed largely because the second film was so good. Still a good film, though.

The shorts are mostly meh. The ones focusing on the furious five were interesting and the holiday special was surprisingly good, although it has some hilariously cursed moments involving neck-snapping and a suicidal bunny (very holiday-y).

Released due to public pressure ... Zack Snyder’s Justice League ... well worth the wait and so much better with Zack finally able to fully be at the helm. This is how the original should have been, if the tragedy had not occurred. Just released about a week ago on HBO. They spent $300M on this.

I went to the matinee at the local movie theater yesterday and saw "Nobody". The film is along the same lines as "The Accountant" and "The Professional".

So even though every other aisle in the theater was blocked off and people were following social distancing guidelines; other than that the theater was packed. I mean really packed. I had to sit in one of the front rows and stare up at the film the whole time.
